CRACK CODE 2023

On December 23, 2023, “Crack Code” was held as a competitive programming competition designed to test participants’ skills in solving complex algorithmic and coding problems. The event challenged competitors to write efficient and accurate code within a limited time frame, addressing a series of demanding computational tasks.

C05M05 CTF

On December 21 and 22, 2023, the “c05m05 CTF” competition took place, featuring an intense Attack-Defend Capture The Flag (CTF) format. This cybersecurity contest provided participants with a challenging environment where they were tasked with exploiting vulnerabilities in target systems while also defending their own infrastructure from attacks.

RECURSION N=1

On December 16, 2023, the “Recursion n=1” hackathon took place, offering an exciting and innovative 24-hour event for students. The hackathon was designed to foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a high-energy environment where they could work on diverse and challenging projects.

GIT WORKSHOP

The Git workshop on December 4, 2023, is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of version control using Git. The session focuses on teaching the fundamentals of Git, a widely used distributed version control system. Attendees will gain practical knowledge of how Git manages code changes and supports collaboration among developers.

WEB DEV. BOOTCAMP

The Web Development Bootcamp, from November 26 to December 1, 2023, is an intensive, hands-on program designed to equip participants with essential web development skills. It offers practical experience through interactive sessions and real-world projects, catering to both beginners and those with some prior knowledge.

KU SUPERCOMPUTER VISIT

In January 2024, students visited Kathmandu University’s supercomputer facility, gaining an insightful look into the realm of supercomputing. This visit offered a unique opportunity to explore the immense computational capabilities and cutting-edge infrastructure that supported advanced scientific research, data analysis, and complex simulations.
