  3. What are the different BE programs at the college and from when those programs were started?

    Currently, CCMT has offered Five Engineering and a BBA program, the engineering programs are as follows:

    • Bachelor Engineering in Information Technology [BEIT] (Est. 2001) -48 Seats
    • Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering [BEX] (Est. 2002) -48 seats
    • Bachelor of Computer Engineering [BCE] (Est. 2002) -48 Seats
    • Bachelor of Civil Engineering [BCV] (Est. 2008) -144 Seats
    • Bachelor of Architecture (BArch] (Est. 2017) -48 Seats
    • Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Est. 2006) -48 Seats
  4. What is the admission procedure for Bachelor of Engineering?

    For BE/BArch and BBA Admission, College announces for online application. Interested applicants have to apply via online or can submit the paper application form at the college administration too with necessary documents (e.g. SLC/SEE/+2 Mark sheet/Certificates, Citizenship Card). Students have to appear in the entrance examination to be scheduled by the college and the admission will be carried out on an entrance result merit list (rank) with the priority choice of students.

  5. What is the admission procedure for BBA program?

    The BBA department conducts Entrance program for the applicants to be eligible for BBA administration.

  6. Is there any scholarship scheme for BE program? Please clarify college scholarship and university scholarship schemes.

    The college has three scholarship schemes (a) Full Scholarship, (b) Special, and (c) Partial

    • Full scholarship: students have to appear Pokhara University entrance examination and the university announces for merit list students for scholarship awards. The full scholarship awarded student can have choice to study at CCMT, while they get full scholarship at CCMT. Every program have 10% of its total seats has full scholarship quota for example every program has 5 full scholarship except CIVIL engineering, which has in total 14 full scholarship seats available.
    • Partial Scholarship: Those who have good ranking in the college entrance will get form 5% up to 50% scholarships on a merit-rank basis.
    • Special Scholarship: Limited students of following categories Female, Dalit/Janajatis, Remote/Marginalized one will receive 10% scholarship on total admission fee. It is applicable on a first come first serve basis. Similarly, college provides scholarship on a semester result performance basis. On Each semester, college semester topper (1st), 2nd and 3rd rank students will get 100%, 50% and 25% discounts on a semester fee of consequent next semester.
    • In the year 2080, on behalf of 23 years of establishment, CCMT has additional scholarship offer in which 23% students admitting in each program on the first come first serve basis will get 23% percent scholarship on the admission (tuition) fee. Similarly, +2 graduates will receive the scholarship based on their +2 score as follows: GPA 3.50 and above will receive 20% scholarship, GPA 3.20 to 3.49 will receive 15% scholarship, GPA 3.10 to 3.19 will receive 10% scholarship, and GPA 3.00 to 3.09 will receive 5% scholarship
  7. What is the total fee of each BE program during the whole study period?

    The total study fee for different program are different, please contact college administration for the Fee details.

  8. Will there be an entrance exam for BE/BBA program?

    Yes, the entrance is compulsory for BE/BArch/BBA program.

  9. Will there be possible to admit in the BE/BBA program without appearing in the entrance exam?

    Not possible. Only merit-rank students from the entrance is eligible for the admission in the BE/BArch/BBA programs.

  10. Where is the syllabus for BE/BBA entrance exam? What are the subjects need to be prepared for entrance exam?

    The syllabus for BE/BArch/BBA program is the course of corresponding +2 program of Nepal Government. The total full marks for BE Entrance is 100 out of which the course coverage is as follows: Math – 30 Marks, Physics – 30 Marks, Chemistry – 20 Marks and English – 10 Marks.

  11. When is the entrance happen for BE/BBA Program?

    The college entrance generally takes place after the completion of +2 (12) examination that lies in the month of July/August/September. College announce the notice for entrance date.

  12. What is the modality of entrance examination (computer based, paper based, time, question patterns etc.)

    Application for entrance is online based while the entrance examination is physical and paper based. Students have to appear physically in the designated center announced by the college to appear in the paper based entrance exam.

  13. Is it possible to directly admit in the Cosmos BE program if passed other university entrance exam?

    This date, this provision is not available. Hence, College entrance is compulsory. CCMT doesn’t consider score of other university entrance result for admission.

  14. Can Biology students join the BE programs at Cosmos?

    Yes, Biology student in the +2 can join BE program at CCMT. The minimum math requirement for BE admission at Pokhara University colleges is 100 full marks. Hence, Bio students without extra math can also appear in the entrance exam and are allowed to study BE/BArch at CCMT.

  15. What are the requirements to appear in the entrance exam and admission at Cosmos College?

    These are the minimum documents requirements for Admission at CCMT.

    • Citizenship copy
    • SLC/SEE Mark sheet copy
    • 2 PP size photo
    • +2 Mark sheet/Transcript at least grade C in Physics, Chemistry and Math.
  16. Does the college has transportation facilities for every day student pick/drop?

    CCMT doesn’t have transportation facility for daily student pick up and drop off.

  17. Does the college has its own hostel facility for students?

    CCMT doesn’t have its own hostel but there are many hostels within 5 minutes walking distances form the college premises.

  18. What is the class timing/shift of the college (Morning/Day and class starts time)?

    The official shift is 7 AM to 2PM, while college manages 10AM to 5PM shift during abnormal situation as per requirements.

  19. What is the exam and evaluation procedure of the college?

    CCMT follows Pokhara University examination procedure. College conducts 2 term tests in a semester for each subjects for internal evaluation. There are many continuous test/assessment/assignment by the subject teacher on each subject on its theory and lab both. Students have to appear 3 hours university final board exam as per university schedule at the end of each semester.

  20. Is the university syllabus up to date as per Intl’ standards?

    Yes, University has fully updated its syllabus to match with international standard on all programs starting since on 2023.

  21. Can the college guarantee job after graduation from the college?

    CCMT has agreement with many national and international companies for job placement of COSMOS graduates.

  22. Can the college guarantee internship during study?

    CCMT has its own company for ICT students named: Cosmos IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and it also has many Research Labs, where students will be hired as an intern in the company and research labs of the college. Similarly, BBA Department provides internship facilities to their students in Banks, Insurance companies, Manufacturing companies and so many other Corporate offices.
